This will be an interesting piece of drama as it unfolds. I am wondering how will turn out and really how many people are really interested in broadband over the air. My next question how much is it going to cost? There are so many other options available that do not involve RF. The problem is though that the cost to most of the local communications companies is going to be astronomical and would be passed onto consumers in the form of service price increases. |

Actually its much worse. Its being passed onto everybody in the form of taxes. At least with a service price increase you have the option of not doing business with them. http://www.broadband.gov/recovery_act.html |

Wonder what happened with the Broadband Over Powerline thing. I think using abandoned frequencies for future communication is a good thing. But, not at a cost. Free TV = Free Interwebs. [/dreaming] |
