Boats as a getaway, fishermen as witnesses... makes for a good read. |

Quote: the case, which may be considered an act of domestic terrorism. The FBI is leading the investigation. That makes me very happy. |

'Terrorism' is being thrown around as a label WAY too often.... EVERYONE who doesn't agree with the status quo is a defacto terrorist... Secondly, if it IS declared as terrorism, the insurance company won't payout, as terrorism/acts of war is on just about everyones exclusion list on their insurance policy since 9/11... I wouldn't be surprised if the tower owners don't call for leniency/misdemeanor sentencing just so they can get their insurance payout. |

Actually in the beefy insurance policies I have see for a few pretty important structures do have provisions for terrorism. Considering its a radio tower, I would assume this would be in place. |

Here's what I gather: Neighbors: I don't like hearing the radio signal when I use my unshielded electronics. ELF: EMR will screw you up if you're exposed to too much of it. Therefore, it's bad, and we will ignore facts and the opinions/interests of others because ours is too important. I can understand the neighbor's complaints. 1210 AM, now KTBK, formerly KBSG, is close to where I grew up. Lots of interference on the POTS lines. It wasn't too bad listening to Elvis or the Hollies, but when they flipped to a Spanish channel, it got annoying to always hear that on the phone. So we got new phones and now hear nothing. |
