Here's the shutdown schedule for Portland: KATU - 11:35 pm KOIN - 7:25 am - Analog 6 to nightlight for two weeks KGW - 3:05 am - flash cut KOPB - 1:05 am - flash cut KPTV - 9:30 am - flash cut KRCW - 9:00 am KPDX - 9:30 am - (shortly after KPTV moves) - flash cut |

KING-5 has been crappy all week, lots of dropouts. Hopefully ditching analog will do something. Then again, I won't really care until September since Conan isn't very funny. |

I vote for the Indian. An analog monoscope image would be a fitting end to analog TV. |

My TV seems to be on the fritz today. All I get are KING-TV 5 and KBTC-TV 28 in spanish running some kind of infomercial stuff? I guess I will just have more time to run the scanner from now on? |

I did a band scan today, nothing had changed in signal strength. Good thing I have cable, which is basic and overpriced. I feel bad for some schlub out there who can't get anything but over the air or doesn't want to get bent over by cable or dish companies and has a shitty signal now. Will the translators stay analog? |
