The PI reports this frequency as being in use. Can anyone confirm? My beam is picking up zilch.

The only thing I'm hearing on 93.7 is a country music station in B.C.

I am getting this one full quieting in Kent, on the east hill. Still 5x5 with no antenna. Some good old school (c)rap, certainly NC-17 lyrics.

:D :D :D Darn, There goes all my profit I made selling those 800 Mhz antennas. Now I'll have to spend all my time looking for this guy by driving around the south king county area. I'll let the FCC have em instead. Did anyone see what the FCC did to the guy in Victorville, California who was running on 660 Khz and 91.9 mhz for about a year. He even had PAID SPOTS and an office. Gave him a pay up notice of 40 G's. And another one bits the dust - OHMMMMph !!

I'm also just hearing the BC station on 93.7 from I-90 latitude;
it identifies as YJR. Country-Western is bad enough, but Canadian C-W, eh?

If it's in the PI, it must be true. They check their sources on the internet

Sounds like your virtually sitting on top of the tower.... don't look down.
I had a few spare minutes so I drove up to summit in Bellevue to borrow some elevation, 93.7 has indeed been taken over. Is the station providing any type of ID, or URL maybe?

The music sucks!
The language is enough for the fcc to go after them.

Hopefully we will hear the sound of the door being kicked in and gunshots soon. :)

:D The days of Elliot Ness and the untouchables have long gone. They don't carry guns any more. Its a WMD up the tower.

I took a little cruise and noticed the signal was pretty bad in the southcenter area. Then I headed south on pac hiway. The signal was best in the Midway area. I could pick it up all the way to the seatac mall where it died out.
Isnt there a coledge near pac hiway and midway?
The station is growing on me. They play some funny stuff. :)

Owner of 93.7 here. Thankyou all for the comments and interest in our station. I would just like to say to mtm and john, while you may wish our staion to be shut down by the FCC, I'll let you know there are a lot of listeners that appreciate us being on the air for bringing something new to the dial, and fighting against censorship. Our siganl is clean and is interfering with noone. perhaps you may find another station to your liking, rather then snitching us out to the fcc and asking for gunshots just because you dont like it. you never know when someone will come after your freedoms, so put yourself in our position for a second. we are aware of the consequences of broadcasting "illegally", but hope the last long enough to make a impact on peoples ideals of what radio has become and what it could be. if you were just kidding, then i hope i didnt take it to personal, i have been rabbit hunting with radio for a long time, and i hope you at least have some fun looking for us. bye for now

:D :D To 93.7 owner, I have heard it all before. I was lucky to have been able to get a start in broadcasting when I was 16. I support anyone that dis-likes what radio ownership has become. If you want support or listeners - and you have something to say - say it in good taste not vulgur words. If your idea of freedom is based on the words that you use and not what you have to say -- you will soon understand what the words freedom, law and resposibility mean. You can communicate -- without the SHOCK words. But in order to communicate -- you must not offend or tick off the very same persons that you wish to communicate to. Using bad taste in the words that you use -- just closes the ears and minds of the very persons you desire to communicate or speak to. If you continue to base Freedom on your right to use vulgur words - you will find words have meaning.
