Anyone have experience with those 'batwing' amplified RV TV antenna? http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=26655&affiliateid=216 I'm thinking about getting one for the camper but they are $100 or so. Alot of money if it doesn't work well. |

20 years ago I had one. Worked well and nice to be able to put it up and down from inside. I left it up one too many times. -m |

I had one on top of my dads camper, worked real good, untill I also "left it along the highway somewhere" when I took it out for the weekend. I replaced it with a marine style amplified "flying saucer" I got it from west marine in Anacortes, it was a little more money, but has paid for itself by not having to raise and lower it, and move it to get the best signal. just search http://www.westmarine.com for a SeaWatch 2030-G Television Antenna. -Dan H Whatcom County |
