Well, you are correct about one thing. This topic has nothing to do with you being what you are - a jerk. The topic is broadcasting or Micro-broadcasting or internet broadcasting. If you wish to have fun - its ok - so long as it offends no one or takes away any GOD given right from others. Just because YOU want to go nude in public - because its fun - does not give you a RIGHT to do so. Just because you want to have fun - shows that you are NOT very wise or responsible. If I wanted to have fun - under what law or authority do I have to burn down your house ???? I just want to have fun !!! Grow up and get a life. If you wish to express YOUR views - there are ways you can communicate -- without all of the "C"rap music and Illegal transmissions. There are many ways or roads open to all in which everyone can share and express their views and beliefs. This forum is but just one. No one has any right to brake the rules just to have FUN.

:D Hey Mr. Bossman !!! It seems that a guy down in Pensacola, Florida took YOUR ADVICE. And it got Mr. Ward F. Dean a fine of $ 17,000. You will note the NAL Account Number issused. It is the IRS Authorization to collect money or blood until the full fine is paid. Station KNAC Pure Rock is an internet station. They play anything they or the public wants to hear. They make money - offend no one and do what they want. Howard Stern has even seen the light and will leave the AM and FM bands. Radio Spectrum is a natural resource. It needs to be used better by ALL. See FCC at http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/a ... 3328A1.pdf .

Well, go look on the inside of the men's bathroom door stall at Albertson's in North Burien. They advertise there. Pretty low-key and not much for advertising cost for 'them', but I guess 'they' don't respect anyone else's property rights anyway...

I don't get why there is so much anger at the 93.7 guy. Does not look like he wants a big broadcast station with ads and the such - just a little fun broadcasting. If people would be truthfull I'm sure most would admit to at least one time transmiting out of the ham bands on an opened up ham radio. Back in the 80's I spent so much time on 418.9 they thought I was a real agent:)

PS. And I remember that Christian Slater in that movie running a pirate station got the girl to take her shirt off - not bad for a radiohead. The 93.7 guy may be scoring way more than the rest of us.

:D Mark, As always -- all very good points of view. As a "Professional" broadcaster - I aquired a "respect' for the listener that IS needed to "Communicate". It's just like using a ten-code. It's just the way that it needs to be. Have I ever "bootlegged" or wanted to ? Yes ! I support the idea of LOCAL radio stations. I have assisted in assigning about 15 percent of ALL of the FM staions in Oregon. Every tiny town should have a local broadcaster. But the radio SPECTRUM is a natural resource. It has a limited amount of Space. The first words from any pirate is "I wanted to play what the others would not broadcast". I support that -- so long as the RESPECT for the LISTENER is included.
