My quess is if Bond doesnt pass they will up grade the system anyway . There Homeland Security grants out there so City of Portland may have got grant to start system upgrade. |

This system is already being built. They are replacing the old SmartZone core with a P25 capable one, and adding some 700 MHz sites. I assume the bond is to completely replace the system with all subscriber radios. icom1020 wrote: Perhaps, in case it passes
