Anyone have experience with this company yet? http://www.datajack.com/ I guess it's a newer company, and the online reviews are mixed so far - but, they seem to lean toward it being a decent deal, and no real surprises. It appears that they use the T-Mobile network. With no contracts and weird fees, I was going to order one and give it a try - figured if it sucked really bad, I'd only be out the $99 equipment charge. In perusing their Terms/Conditions area, there's no mention of an upload/download limit, or any extra cost for overages. Seems intriguing that you could just activate it when you planned on going out of town, and wanted/needed some mobile data access beyond whatever Wifi hotspot you could find. Then, when you don't really need it, you can disable it temporarily. Brad. |

It says EDGE--so I think that's AT&T, but, edit, more research reveals it's T-Mobile. But they say it works in 2.5G areas. "Coverage information is currently unavailable. Check back for updates soon." I found Tether and it works great. |

A different company, 'Cricket', offers a similar deal in Spokane county. $40/mo- no contract. I'm considering since Comcast upped my bill from $45 to $70 with no reason. My only concern if it's fast enough to stream video {Hulu, Netflix}. |

That's the broadband bill. I use wabbit ears. The downside of these new-fangled TV's, hard to balance the antenna on top. Had to do some redneck engineering with a staple gun. |
