Post subject:  Alaska State Trooper Frequencies Please

I have been trying to find frequencies for the Alaska State Troopers for a long time now. I used to have them but they were lost and now they seem almost non existent. Can someone PLEASE help me find these or possibly provide the main channel frequencies to me? Thanks so much.

Have you looked at the Alaska ALMR system?

I just did, Sean, thanks. It appears a bit daunting and seems that some of the frequencies are out of the range of many standard scanners. I would presume those would include the main channel for dispatch and car to car radio traffic? We are a search and rescue team for lost snowmobiles in our area and it sure would be nice to have those two frequencies. Thanks again for your help.

It uses VHF, UHF and 800 frequencies that are available in nearly every scanner. Perhaps you are confused with trunked operation; this can help.
