Hi guys,

I'm looking for a pair of Spectras . VHF and UHF trunk mount med-hi power. Prefer hi-power. Needs to be able to be used in the Ham bands. I'm hoping to find some local before I have to resort to Ebay. Might even go for Astro, but I'm not super rich.
Radios don't have to both come from the same person, and I'm willing to meet pretty much anywhere if we meet halfway.
Farthest North=Arlington, farthest south=portland and farthest east=yakima, basically willing to drive about 4ish hours each way.

Thanks for looking

Are you set on Motorola or would you consider an upgrade to Kenwood?

I call Kenwood an upgrade because the groups can be dynamic. They do not have to be 16 channels. And with the price of Kenwood it is hard to beat.

The 30 series are nice radios. Only downside, they are only narrow band compliant by the entire radio. The later series can be narrowband by channel.

Also, the TK-7180 (VHF) and TK-8180 (UHF) is 50 watts and can be remote mounted. 512 channels.

(I was in no way trying to offend you. After seeing how popular Kenwood is here in Eastern Washington between USFS, WA parks, and local police/fire agencies, I do not look at Motorola the same way I used to.)

G series also?

Ive got a 730g and an 830g as a dual band pair and have mixed narrow channels in the vhf... Problem I found was not being able to do a splinter channel...

Getting back on track-

Ive got a 110watt UHF deck only that needs an A9 head that Id part with...
