Yes very interesting. I was wondering what kind of PA puts out 20W from 100khz to 2ghz but upon further digging found the TX range is 160m-70cm which is still respectable. Too bad no 900mhz/1.2ghz. As others have pointed out all its missing is a tuning knob.

There's an "Optional VFO Knob" listed in the manual. Perhaps a USB plug in device or something...

Yeah, 900/1.2g would have been nice but not missing much around here. The 900 Cougar repeater has failed and is down for a while.
