Wasn't 2.4 ghz like the new 'thing' back in the 90s? I vaguely remember reading something in CQ magazine about it. This was way before it was destined to become Wi-Fi and BT domain...

There was a fair amount of 1.2, have quite a few of those rigs. We have some 1.2 repeaters around town.

This is the first 2.4 I’ve ever seen.
