It is about time somebody made a product like this given how stagnant Yaesu's portable product line is. |

A total clean sheet is necessary. If anything, this new Icon uses the for factor and usability of the Elecraft units. I have an 817. I like it. However, much of the new technology which has developed since the initial introduction of the 817 could and should be applied to a new QRP/portable HF-VHF-UHF unit. |
