D-Star and APRS as well as GPS are pretty easy to add these days. The LCD is much larger than in the past and the colors might make differentiating between different elements easier.

220? I'm an old time fan of 220. We got 220 privileges back when I was a Novice and the second ham radio I bought (after a used KW TS-120) was an Icom 3AT. I had lots of fun with that. The Seattle had a fair number of populated 220 repeaters at the time and there were a lot of young guys to talk to. Geezers, too, but I don't hear many young guys/gals on any wavelength of repeaters these days. 220 in a rig (Like in the KW F6A and the Yaesu VX-6) is a nice bonus but other features would guide my purchase.
(At the time, I was a user of N7GAD's "Scanner BBS" as well as a few other BBS in the Seattle area.)
