Hopefully this week! :) The Cougar Mtn DMR repeater works very well around Bellevue. For that matter, around King County too. If you go north, the Lynnwood one seems to work well, too - though lower level, it fills a north end gap. Brad/N7ER |

The below information was provided by Mike, NO7RF. Per the PNW Trbo site, it will be on 442.950, CC1: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Good News Again! We will soon have another repeater joining the PNW network and it may possibly come online before the Portland repeater, likely within a couple of weeks. It will be Northwest of Vancouver WA located atop Larch Mtn at 3,500 feet. Larch will support an MTR-3000, capable of 100 watts output. This will be a wide area machine with expected coverage down near Salem OR and up to around Longview WA. Chaulk up another hundred miles for the I-5 talkgroup! ;-) This will be a great addition to the PNW network. The standard PNW TG's will be supported but check the TG Matrix for actual talkgroup details. The repeater list has been updated on the PNW website. Portland is still on track. Sounds like Larch Mt may be up later next week. Portland repeater should be following shortly. Also talk of more DMR repeaters further south of Portland, I am looking forward to actually using my XPR6550 for what I purchased it for at least three years ago. ive been getting a load of interference from the DMR repeater up in BC on 443.400. Anyone else confirm? |

Nick which talkgroups do you usually monitor? I still need to get my radio programmed up this weekend. I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around always on versus PTT talkgroups. Seems like there is enough linked talkgroups around we can have an unofficial Intercept one? |

I think this is due to the "site connect" feature. Tim and I are usually on Local 2 but WASH 1 is always good. |

The Matrix shows both Baldi and Cougar are full-time for BC 1. |

Portland (stonehenge tower) wide coverage repeater is up and online. New home TG for PNW-DMR is PNW 1 (3187) TS1 which is a full time TG on all pnw repeaters. Larch mtn is waiting for the equipment to be transported to it's final location and hooked up. |
