Newer 2 meter repeater on the air in Paradise, 145.13Mhz -offset with a tone of 192.8 Still testing out some coverage but covers SW area of Mount Rainier NP, Paradise meadows, Nisqually river valley towards Elbe. Some decent coverage on Hwy 12 near the summit at approx mp 148 down to approximately mp130 West of Packwood. Or going to aprs and looking for ww7ch-12 will get you in the area. |

Flash: WW7CH, It probably would work for part of Ramrod, I can't recall how well it does going down into Steven's Canyon. Although the next few years of ramrod is going to be a mess with the road construction that is going to happen Nisqually Entrance to Paradise. I would guess that they reroute the course using Skate Creek to Packwood. Rich: extra Cheese and Bacon. Sean PM sent |
