Location: Depends on the day of the week
I'm going to remote mount a TK-5720 mobile in my pickup but I'd also like to remote mount a decent dual-band mobile for 2M/70cm use. Looking for cross band repeat and 50 watts.

Any recommendations?

IC-2820 should fit the bill. The head is mountable with magnets too (or traditional holes and screws). Works pretty darn good.

Nothing beats the Kenwood V-71A in my opinion. 50w on either VHF or UHF. :)

Not to mention that Kenwood has the best audio output of any brand save Motorola.
