The WB0CZA repeater system is starting to come back together... 441.125 and 927.400 123pl now on Buck Mt. over Quilcene. Just shy of the 4000 ft line. [strike]The 900mhz receiver is not up correctly quite yet but Ill hopefully make a trip back up in the morning and see why.[/strike] |

Yep- 2 weeks ago I was headed off at the pass (Rocky Brook Pass) but yesterday not a stick of it on the road. Some in patches off the side of the hill still there to prove it was there I guess... :mrgreen: |

The mountain top can almost be seen glowing when this repeater keys up... :mrgreen: Ill post a coverage map of the 900 once Ive rested a bit... 2 trips up and back today. |

Its a crossband type system so whatever happens on the 440 side also happens on the 900 side. :wink: I just dusted off my 900 GTX and need to install it somewhere now... Im thinking here at the house. Got my start with a 900 system so kinda partial. :mrgreen: |

This used to be a multi-site simulcast system, but I get the impression it's just a single site now. Correct? |

(in fact I just heard Bryon on the east side working stampede.) The plan is to turn up a couple more full sites and some extra receiver sites. Port Angeles is next on the list... edit- And now Bryon working 900 from a portable I-90 to midspan 520 on the lake full quieting most of the time... |

Glad to hear you got the Stampede Pass repeater back up. I've worked that one before from Ryegrass. I've actually been listening to it the past couple of days here at home and it does sound alot better. Kudos!!! |

This repeater routinely sounds better on my handheld than the "other" 440 box I've been using for years (444.300, also on Buck). And, it's quieter, too. May have to switch over to this one full time, especially with the addition of other sites and receivers. Thanks for your work on this. Brad. |

I just talked to Kenny/KU7M, and he thought the 900 side was on West Tiger.....? My experience with the 900 side would suggest Buck.... Brad. |

Its all on Buck now. Tiger might be a 70cm receiver eventually. Buck is a split antenna system with a hi-gain Bogner antenna (12dbd ish) and a 10db transmit antenna with roughly 200watts at the transmit port before the cans. |

Well..... UHF and 900 both appear to be off the air. Technical problem, or was the equipment pulled? I think the UHF side was having receiver issues of late.... Brad. |
