Get an error trying to read every time. I've read all the help files and switched shit back a forth. I know that the computer/link/radio are seeing each other at some level. Tried 1000 difference config's Sorry, got to go, hard to see with the blood in my eyes from my forehead. -thnx -m |

I've done an IC7000/SignaLink USB. Is the issue with the USB sound or the CI-V radio control ? |

Not sure what that means...I've tried three different programs on the PC with no luck. Thanks for the input. |

AFAIK, the SignalLink controller is just for connecting your mic input into your computer to transmit. For example, if you had an older Icom rig that you wanted to do PSK31. You buy the SL USB and make the appropriate interface cable. Then you can use MPSK to do PSK31. CI-V control is actually using your computer (with appropriate) software to TUNE/CONTROL the rig directly. AFAIK, the SignalLink does not do this... |
