The other night someone referred me to what they called the Mt. Baldi (or Baldy-like myself) repeater at 146.980. I went to that frequency and it worked well. They told me it was by Enumclaw.

What puzzled me is that I don't find a reference to a Mt. Baldi repeater anywhere. I do find 146.980 referenced to Cougar Mountain over by Issaquah. The only problem I have with that is I was using the repeater with a handheld with 5 watts output from the valley in Auburn. I really don't think that would open a repeater in Issaquah.

Can anyone provide further information on this repeater?

Many thanks,

Rich, I did check the data base, but I forgot to scroll down. SpudGunMan, thank you for the reference.

It must be that 4100 foot elevation which helps me out.

Thanks again to both of you,
