Hope he has a good battery.

He probably won't get pulled over for talking on a cell phone anyway :D

Now THAT is extreme!!!
Ham-cop badges!
I think I know a few who deserve those!

I have to agree with you Wil (re: shit like that...)

I was traveling a few years ago on behalf of a large HAM Radio manufacturer, and of course was wearing their shirt when I arrived at the hotel counter. As I arrived in the parking lot I spied a Volvo wagon that was all geeked out, complete w/ marine spotlight on the roof and GOBS of antennas. On the rear windows the owner had placed stickers w/ the same logo in his windows that I had on my shirt.

So when I got to the counter another patron looked at my shirt and said "hey, I saw your car out there".

I was dog-ass tired, so I snapped back a little harder than I should have and said, "dude, that is NOT my car!"

He was quiet for a minute and then said to me "Yeah, I don't think there are that many people I want to talk to".

I've seen ham operators come in all shapes.
The whack jobs have under laying issues.
I rarely mention ham radio; typical response is "oh you mean CB!"
