My apologies to OWEN62 - while attempting to move his request to the "Amateur Radio Forum", I inadvertently deleted the post. It wasn't intentional...

OWEN62 - can you re-post on this thread your request? It does not appear that I can resurrect the deleted message.

Your profile doesn't state your location - but I would guess there are some Radio Clubs in the area that put on the "get your license in a weekend" format of test. The Microhams club comes to mind, as well as the Everett Hams Club and perhaps the Mike and Key club in Seattle.

I believe SpudGunMan also replied to him - could you re-post your info to this thread as well?

For going the extra mile, My original question was how Meany Ham's do we have here, I own a VHF and UHF radios and would like to start using them for more then just listening. I live up in Stanwood, WA and would like to get my license from the FCC.
