But I'm a cheap bastard as most of you know. Anyone got current study materials they want to loan me? And Wil, I will not trade you the talkgroup book for it.

Sean,

From one cheap bastard to another...

My favorite "study guide" is http://aa9pw.com/

There are several sites that offer "practice exams", but what I know about this one is:
-it changes the test each time instead of giving the same one over and over
-it shows the correct answer when you get one incorrect
-it has a chart at the bottom to show your pass/fail rate per area of the test, so you will know where to focus your studies

Or, you could do what I did and get your extra from a Cracker Jack box...

Jeebus, Sean initiated a thread... Wait, what's that...? I think I hear a shell breaking.

This completes my trolling for today, thank you.

just take the tests on qrz like a hundred times and your gonna pass learn later.

I really like W5YI and also VEC for them however I gave my books up a bit ago otherwise I would share, the library normally has a few.

edit... I did find last years extra book from W5 its close enough they only made some of the questions clearer on the new test that I have reviewed. I can lend it out (but would want it back when your done as its part of a classroom kit)

I'm surprised a "radio god" needs a book to teach him.

I've got the technical part down. It's just the rules I have to learn. Not like I'm going to obey them.....
