nice! who you test out with? now that you can transmit you need new radios! depending on your budget you got a lot of options, things I would recommend are

Ft-7800 yeasu dual band
anything from http://www.alinco.com little more affordable not the best stuff but its works fine for starter equipment

Icom and Kenwood are little more pricey for new, but if you want to get into D-Star or APRS - way to go

depending on your housing situation you might not have the ability to Huck up an antenna so a HT might be in order the Vx-6R is a fun radio gets you into 220 band and easy to hack out for marine use

look fwd to chatting with you on the air - K7MHI

Took the test in Tacoma; I was probably the second youngest there.

I found a great deal on a VX-7R a while ago; it's been sitting here since. I haven't signed on the air yet; I've been too busy.

That software mod didn't work for me; but I do use that software to program everything.

Congrats. Didn't I talk to you on WA7HTJ the other day?

Must've been my evil twin. Still haven't been on the air. Preparing to move takes too much time...
