Guess I'll be the first, since I'm the moderator of this Forum. My name is Brad, and my call is N7JGX. I'm in the Lynnwood, WA area. Thanks to Marcus and Rich for getting Intercept NW back online and up to speed. This is a great radio resource for the Washington area. This Amateur Radio Forum should be fairly easy to manage. Please use it to exchange information about local Amateur Radio issues. I would guess frequencies would be the primary concern, but certainly other topics are up for discussion. APRS is an interest of mine. Amateur Satellites, VHF contesting, antenna design/recommendations, band conditions - whatever seems appropriate for an Amateur forum. It probably goes without saying (but, I'll say it anyway) that messages that contain threatening content will not be tolerated. But, that shouldn't be a problem here. Enjoy the Forum. Brad. |

I like to thank Marcus & Rich on putting up the website. I am new to Amateur Radio Bands. Looking to learn & discuss questions about the Ham Bands here. Right now I am using 2meter & 440 band. Looking to expand in the future. |

Great, glad to have you guys online. Michael, it looks like you live in Puyallup. Do you have plans on going to the Mike and Key Hamfest at the Puyallup Fairgrounds this coming weekend? Might be a good opportunity to look at some used and new equipment. It may *certainly* help in expanding your horizons. On a side note, Rich and Marcus will have a table down there to promote the Intercept site. Stop by and meet the brains behind the operation. Brad N7JGX Lynnwood, WA |

Unfortunately work came between Intercept and the Puyallup ham fest, I do hope that all attendees had a good time. A special thanks goes out to Brad for moderating this group, we can't think of a better fitting individual. For those unfamiliar with Brad's long standing passion for radio, feel free to send him an inquiry via email. Be fore warned, Brad will not hesitate to stamp your meal card with a "No Dessert"........(inside joke ;). -Marcus K7INW |
