OK I have TM-D700 but Iam having a small problem with it on APRS I had to do a full reset because it locked up on me.

It well transmit my position ( I see the words my position) and I can receive APRS stations but for some reason my position is not coming up on http://www.findu.com

I do have transmit on AUTO and becon is on and for the GPS Iam using 4800 baud

Dose any-body have the settings for Washington State?

I also had a small v and a u before I did the reset,
Dave

Set another radio to the APRS frequency; watch and listen to make sure it's actually going out. I've seen the D-700 series say it sent a packet when in fact it "sent" the packet to the radio but the radio failed to transmit it.

If it is trasmitting try uping it to 3 hops. Any more than 4 and you'll get angry messages from guys in Utah and Arizona complaining about the spam.

If the radio fails to transmit verify the radio is not set to inhibit transmit on that band/channel/side of itself.

If uping the hops fixes it then you just weren't getting passed to a node that posts to the internet.
