Have you checked out k7pp's system? It has very good coverage all over western washington. I'm not sure if it is 'hooked up' with the 147.200 system that covers most of eastern washington, there was talk of it a few year back. check out k7pp website. |

The k7pp system might be hit or miss in Clark Co. (base station coverage) the site that covers that area is in Pacific County. We do get users from the area occasionally. Ive used it with a mobile when the site first went in. Heres Karls SRG page. |

The KBARA system consists of the 147.360 repeater on Stensgar Mt. near Chewelah. The 147.380 on Mica Pk. and the 146.740 on Kamiak Butte in the Colfax/Pullman area. There is also the 147.260 repeater on Wenatchee Mt., and the 147.020 on the Idaho/Montana stateline which is tied into the system on occasion, and the 145.330 on Tiger Mt., which now stays connected to E.WA pretty much all the time. Karl (AK2O) (SRG) owns a couple of the 220/440 machines, used for linking, with in the KBARA system. I know there is one in the Portland/Vancouver area on the North/South trunk of the system that they tie in occasionally; most usually during the Saturday Morning Swep Net. |

We should have this post over in the ham deal. Thanks for the intertie info. Yahoo has a club for it. Back in the days before cell phones, it was a neat way to communicate across a large distance, still is. Remember packet? internet in its infancy! |
