While listening to an ARES net last night, I figured out that the W2ZT repeater system has expanded a bit:

442.500 - Buck Mtn
444.975 - Haystack Mtn. (near Monroe)
223.940 - Also on Haystack Mtn.
145.390 - South Everett, east of Boeing plant.

Last night, they were all linked together for their net. Don't know if that's a normal occurrence. It appears that his system supports the Snohomish County ARES efforts.

There used to be another 440 in Skykomish hooked up to this.

They are not always linked together all the time. I think they use VOIP connection for links.

And, the K5IN system on Capitol is linkable via a remote base to W2ZT on Buck.

Oh yeah... Forest Service just "raised the rent" :chaingun: and methinks the hams will all vacate Buck in fairly short order  unless they or their supporters are "made of money"
