The Big M said no to TRBO in an APX. Looks like a marketing decision. Go look at the notes on the MTUG website in the Feature Request.

Anyway, Someone give me some lat, lon, height and ERP....

Yeah too bad, but not surprising. If they do my suggestions I will be happy, which reminds me I have a new one!

Looking forward to the new MotoTrbo repeaters up north, hopefully we'll get some down towards Portland sometime. I enjoyed using the system down in the BayArea last month.

I have heard a lot of chatter about Harris enabling DMR in the Unity's. Of course that is just talk, so only time will tell. I would prefer to have it in the APX, the Unity is not my favorite radio (anyone want to buy one?) and Harris is a PITA to deal with.

Yeah would like to get my hands on a Unity to play with sometime, supposedly we were supposed to get a demo one sometime.

There is a MotoTrbo capable repeater in Portland, however I believe it is only standalone digital and not capable of being linked to any of the networks. Not sure if there is anyone else in the metro area that has a radio, so it would be kind of boring talking to myself.
Sorry no purpose in using that, just looked cool.

Day Wireless is running a TRBO repeater off Tiger on 452.725--the old King County Metro Channel 2. Either it's encrypted or I can't get DSD to run properly.

Recordings of 2 hours of monitoring using the inverted switch and without.

Also, it CWIDs using Day's callsign linked in the previous post.

Greg's Repeater on Cougar Mt is now on the network. Hooked up to the internet as of 3/24/13 1600hrs.

Had fun helping on the project yesterday. Now I need to get my own radio, in due time I will.

47.544011,-122.10855

Antenna height ~1600' ASL

Not sure what the loss through the combiner is- nor if there's any gain on the antenna, but the repeater is currently operating at 25w. Should be 100w when some components get changed out.

Know the antenna gain and height? And what the freq range on the antenna actually is?
