I've been selling radio gear for a LONG time. Hundreds and hundreds of transactions and I've never been burnt. Long story short.... 7 months ago we had twins, so I quickly sent out all of my outstanding ebay items without getting paid first, I usually NEVER do this. I knew that because of the birth of our kids that I would be very busy, I wanted to make sure that everyone received their items pronto. Within days I received payment from all parties except for one: William Stuebe K9BUB, who purchased vintage Drake gear from me for several hundred dollars.
This was 7 months ago, since, I've emailed him, snail mailed, called.... all multiple times. Ebay was contacted and provided no help at all. I have his signature as proof of delivery via UPS, so I know he has the radio gear. I even sent along some rare vacuum tubes as a gift, he ended up auctioning them off for over $100.
I spoke with him once over the phone, he quickly made an excuse to end the call. I haven't been able to
get a hold of him since. Typically I would just write it off as a lesson but we just had kids and $$$$ is
BEYOND tight. Fair is fair, I did my part and this asshole ripped me off.

I found this site doing a search out of curiosity where my ex-husband is. And low and behold. . why am I not surprised to see this thread about him. My only disappointment is that the sociopath not yet buried. I can tell you things about this man that would blow your hair back. .
