I mainly use my amateur gear for vehicle - vehicle comms when we are out exploring however one day I heard 443.625 and was able to listen to it from Seattle (where I tuned in) all the way to Lacey, then hearing hams from all over the world piqued my interest.
I've been listening for awhile and re-reading my radio manuals to learn how to correctly program them to use a repeater but it seems it's gone dark.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened or how to find info on its status.
Looking at a couple websites, I'm kind of confused on what to look for:

Possibly deserving it's own thread, what would be some good 2m/70cm repeaters around the south puget sound area?
I do have a Repeater Directory and trying some of them though it's hard to know their working area.

Mainly using:
Vehicle: Yaesu ft7900r w/ diamond nb770hb antenna
ht: Yaesu ft60r stock rubber antenna

Thanks,
KF7GEG

Well for that frequency you're looking at W7PSE: http://www.pseares.com/index_files/Page616.htm

Make sure you have the correct shift and tone for your radio's saved memory setting.

It's possible it could be offline of course and/or something changed.

In the about section, there's contact email. You can email them and see if there's a problem.

There are many repeaters in this area but a lot of them are sketchy when making hits from a HT. It's best to use your mobile radio for the best contact. (HT's do work fine but it just depends on where you are exactly...)
