I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and put up my dual band antenna. Thought I'd share a pic. Yes I know it's too close to the house. Yes I know I should be running something better than RG58. I live in a subdivision with huge HOA restrictions and lots of nosey neighbors so this is better than using a mag mount on top of a filing cabinet. The bracket is from a DISH installation that the prior home owner had. It is tucked between peaks of the roof but has great visibility to the west and south. Surprisingly my coverage to the north is not bad either. Plus it is invisible to all of my neighbors. My next project is how to change out the RG58 for my run of LMR400 cable and to get that into the "radio room".

You could paint it to match the house color. :)

Hard to miss mine:

Looks good for a stealth install. One thing to consider is higher altitude and a shorter antenna. A 17 inch dual-band antenna mounted near the top of your second story would probably work better, and you still can mount it somewhere not terribly noticeable (like by an attic vent).
