Several years ago, I used to use this system via the 6m port. About once a week, I would briefly speak to Chuck as he did his rounds.
Then, he disappeared, and the system suddenly had no activity. I understand that a close ham friend of his (the guy that assisted him with the technical side of system maintenance) died. After this death, Chuck apparently lost interest in ham radio and the repeater system in general. The 220 repeater (224.680) seems to be up, but I have not tried any of the other repeaters in some time.
When I go to his repeater web page, it defaults to a different page now - the "Western Washington ATV Society". This page mention the W7SRZ system, but only as a possible way to contact members of the ATV club on the air. The old web page that described the system and it's history seems to be gone.
So, the short answer is - "I really don't know". It's too bad, as it was the only "real" multi-band multi-site repeater system in Seattle proper.
