Day one:
Not a damn thing

Day two:
Not a damn thing

Day three:
Made a couple contacts on 20 / 40 meters.

I think there really is a place on earth where no RF exists.

No, I was early.
Same general area tho.

Interesting enough, there is a hell of a lot of RF down there during the burn.

I found an STA for a full cell system, with the justification along the lines of "we are a manufacturer of cell site equipment and need to 'test'"...

Yeah right.

They also have a trunked system out there that I wanted to hack on, but I was traveling on other people's schedule.

We made a 200 mile 4x4 run following old emigrant wagon trails. Really awesome, anyone who likes this stuff should do it, hey do 1 trip per year, max 25 vehicles.

Also, I think there is an EDACS site up north, but again, on other people's schedule...

What I really need is the toys Taco uses (and maybe Wil???)
It makes logging much easier.

Of course, I would need to refrain from (ahem) breaking my laptop along the way.
