It has been years since we have travelled to the Abbotsford, British Columbia area. Can anyone advise wha the frequencies are for Abbotsford Police, Fire and BC ambulance. Also for the Railway of Southern BC. Last time I was there they were still analog. Are they still or have they switched to digital? While there I will attempt to verify these frequencies and post any changes. Many thanks, |

Thank you for the information. What about the RCMP in the Abbotsford, Aldergrove, Chilliwack and Mission areas, do you have any information? Does Abbotsford Fire and BC Ambulance units stationed in Abbotsford cover the above listed areas as well? Again, many thanks, |

Fire is 153.895 and BCAS is 149.44 I believe. Hope that helps. I am going to Vancouver possibly in July so I wonder if scanners can be even taken across the border. I don't monitor railways at all, not even here, so can't help ya there. Yes a scanner can be taken across the border. I do it all the time. I wouldn't have it turned on when you are crossing the border though. :wink: Amateur radios can also be taken across the border. |
