There seems to be some changes in freqs for Island County fire dispatch.Does anyone have an updated list?[/b]

They restructured their fire frequencies several years ago. A current list is on the Intercept webpage

I'm looking for recent changes, since 09/05. About that time there was a change in the Stanwood\Camano ambulance pact. ICOM fire dispatch now refers to Fire 7 and Fire 8.

I have also recently hear references to Fire 7, but have not found that frequency yet. I'll listen this weekend, and see if I can't find it.

As for OSCCR and REDNET, those can't generally be used for "normal" operations. I have not heard any operations on those frequencies in this area. I doubt they are being used for Island County Fire 7 and Fire 8. OSCCR seems to have some pretty heavy restrictions, especially up here near the Canadia border.

I found a document that outlines the "authorized" use of OSCCR. Interestingly enough, the use of OSCCR is controlled by the WA Dept of Transportation and the Washington State Military Department:

OSCCR is short for 'On-Scene Command and Coordination Radio', and it's meant to be used at highway incidents by all responding units. It should be programmed in the radios for all first responders (PD, FD, EMS, DOT...) in the state, at least those who have VHF. It's the highway equivalent of LERN and REDNET. Recently, state emergency management has taken over the admistrative end of the authorization letters - don't know why.

Funny thing is that WSP seems to have forgotten how many other agencies use it, because it's being used for LE operations and chat.
