Well some of those radios came from DSHS at the Capitol (KNAW437) and some looks like the old Capitol Campus 800 trs, which is alleged to have gone digital (though TRBO if I recall correctly). |

Wiztronics has a NXDN repeater on top of Tiger Mountain. 452.4375 Mhz... Have yet to hear any voice traffic as yet... |

They're currently building out a somewhat statewide NXDN trunk system in UHF. Few channels on the air in Moses Lake and a few more will be on the air atop Mission Ridge here shortly. |

Yeah I'm sure it's their regional system. BTW, I just learned a few days ago that DSD+ doesn't really decode NXDN. You need to actually "find" the voice channels which DSD+ can't do without help. So all I can see is the voice activity on their control channel. I do see some voice activity but it's a pain to track them down. I guess there's a way to deduce the frequency pairs somehow but I kind of gave up when I found out it wasn't automatic. I'm a little confused as to how this works. Need to go read more about NXDN. Perhaps the AOR DV-1 will be affordable and thus we can all monitor these transmissions... http://www.integra-a.com/AOR_AR-DV1_PRE.pdf |

Any guess to the cost of this new AOR receiver yet? Too bad it won't trunk. |
