Drove through the area tonight on I-82 and the Benton county trunk was terrible! I was getting TGIDs but every time the Kennewick PD dispatcher came on the audio would break in and then immediately cut out. I think that was TGID #303. There didn't seem to be much activity either. I've checked my Freescan file again and it looks like it's programmed just fine... with my 996xt. Any ideas? On the way back, I'll try to stop for a while and see if I can sniff the control channel. **I bet it smells like chicken! xD I brought my PSR-800 with me as well and will set up it and try it on the way back. |

check P25 audio settings? It hears better further out like Pasco and even up towards Prosser. I went over there to help someone with a PSR 600 and he needed an outside antenna in certain parts of Kennewick. I had the same problem around Col Center and near downtown. Could you listen in on 151.220 and see if Pasco PD is still on there too? |

My 996xt has the latest P25 upgrade and it's using the AUTO settings for P25. AFAIK, I shouldn't have to adjust these. I'll stop some place and do some snooping and see what's going on... |
