What type of radio is it? The only radio that I know of that can do 800/700/VHF/UHF is an Harris Unity XG-100M and it can't do Motorola's smart zone trunking...

Yeah, the Moto APXs can only do dual band if I'm not mistaken... 700/800 and VHF or UHF1 or UHF2

The XG-100 is fancy-shmancy... can TX on VHF/UHF/700/800 and Rx on VHF Low too. Now I'd like to see a multi-band antenna for that! :)

in the car is a APX (800/700/VHF) with a UHF radio, plan is to go 700mhz p25 phase 2, they are adding on to pierce transit system. Looks like Puyallup, Tacoma, and Lakewood will stay 800mhz.

I've installed a few. Very voltage sensitive, to the point of toasting radios with marginal batteries (radio tries to turn on but voltage is too low).

The antennas are 'ok', and are very picky, VERY groundplane dependent.

So much so that.............well.......

Standard L bracket wouldn't cut it, so I got creative.. :D

The V/U/7/8 have one connector, the VHF-L RX only has its own connector, and SMA for GPS (built in, where optioned)
