ok guys i am new to the scanner group here and what i am looking for is simple, i think. i have apro-97 scanner and i am trying to program the freq for lynnwood. I found the t/g in the forum and programed them and also programmed the ferq 155.xxx cant seem to get all their chatter. occasionally the scanner picks up some lincoln freq on what my scanner says is edmonds fire. jut then it dosent pick up anything else, also confused what is the differance between the different simulcasts and how do you set them. |

The talkgroups are part of an 800 MHz trunked radio system. You won't hear anything unless you program in one of the control channels for the system. Make sure to set your bank type to Motorola. You can read about simulcasting (and many other things about trunked radio systems) here. |

i got the 800 system, and the t/g, i now have a better understanding of the simulcast system, but was having issues figuring out how to program the control freq, so i am going to delete every thing off the scanner and start again. i will update you soon. thanks again Taco. |
