Supposedly on April 11th S.E.R.S will be conducting maintenance and all users will have to switch to Site Trunking on their Radios while this maintenance is going on. After Maintenance no more ALERT TONES at least on the SNOPAC side for Fire Agencies.

Locution is coming but not yet. I believe Locution will be part of the NEW WORLD CAD coming. You can have Tones, SEATTLE FIRE Still has vintage tones. SERS does not want to buy a new tone generator.

They sound like Uniden Bearcat Alert Tones. I bet they came with the software upgrade. I have not heard if SNOCOM uses them as of yet.

Are there any other silly "woo-woo" sounds that box can make?

It is one of three generic tones. I have to select my choice, and click on it. As long as I keep the mouse button down, it keeps going. No way to speed them up.
