Okay, so KCMT has their new 700 mhz P25 system that seems mostly operational. So what is their UHF system for? Is this backup and/or for the older busses? The system is definitely not a simulcast. http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSear ... ey=2507562 It seems that 462.65 is very active (at least on a Saturday.) |

I dont see 462.65 listed on that license... Do they use 460.375 also? |

Typo and you meant 452.65? The UHF system is what they've been using for years. The 700 system is only a few years old. I haven't listened to the 700 system, but everything is slowly migrating over there for narrowbanding (and the advantages a trunked system gives you). Not everything in the fleet has a 700 radio in it yet. But they've got 11 more months. |

For reference--here are all the freqs for the UHF system: http://www.interceptradio.com/s.php?sfr ... call=1&z=1 Only use the PL on channels 1-4 for the "broadcast" messages. |
