Looking for Mt.Rainier Park frequencies for the rangers. I have 169.725, 168.6125, 172.450, 163.075, however I never hear anything. I am in Eatonville with a roof antenna with an older Radio Shack Pro 2035 U/VHF scanner. I seem to be able to pick up most everyone else, RMI and Guest Services but nothing from the park rangers. Any idea's?

Mt. Rainier Law Enforcement/main park 169.725, radio traffic everyday, depending on your scanner you may only pick up low audio. Unit 100 is park superintendent.

Yeah they are out there to hear. They were quite active on July 4th -- on fireworks patrol. I can get them from Seattle on quarterwave mobile mount so it doesn't take much to hear them.
