Everybody that LESA dispatches except Tacoma uses their badge #s on the air. For PCSD it's a 3 digit badge number for the patrol deputies, 2 digit number for the sergeants. Detectives are in between. For the other cities, it's also a badge number (i.e. "Fircrest 7" or "Lakewood 101"). Lower numbers generally equal sergeants. Tacoma uses a beat system that's explained on this site somewhere.
