They are two different zones, and Tacoma units cannot roam onto the Puyallup Zone, and vice versa.
If you use a trunking datastream decoder, i.e. Trunk88, you can see the denied affiliations from Tacoma units wandering within range of the Puyallup coverage area.*

Yes. Off the top of my head, they are on talkgroup 45712.

Puyallup Fire is no longer; they are part of Central Pierce Fire and Rescue. CPFR is dispatched by Tacoma FD. You can here them dispatched (for now) on 154.130, or 460.050.

Each Party will be responsible for assigning subsystem Talkgroups on their respective
subsystems, consistent with Exhibit A, which will be for use only on that Party's subsystem.

Coordination or agreement between the Parties will not be necessary because subsystem
talkgroups on one Party's subsystem do not affect the other Party's subsystem.

EMER Talkgroups All "EMER" talkgroups will be designated as wide area.

The Parties agree the shared talkgroups below, designated as Metro Talkgroups, are
assigned as wide area talkgroups for use on both Parties systems by law enforcement and
fire personnel and associated dispatch centers for multi-jurisdictional communications
purposes. In general, dispatch centers will be responsible for selecting and coordinating the
use of Metro Talkgroups among the various agencies. For operational purposes and by
mutual consent the Metro Talkgroups may be modified. The Parties agree that Tacoma will
not assign additional Metro Talkgroups without Puyallup's consent, which Puyallup will not
unreasonably withhold.

Metro Talkgroups as of June 30, 2009 are:

Metro Talkgroup/ Used For/ Encrypted?

800 LERN-/Talks Directly to VHF LERN/No

F COM1-5/Fire Agencies Common (5 talkgroups)/No

IMS/PC Incident Command/No

LE 1-2/Police Agencies Common (2 talkgroups)/No

LE-3-6/Police Agencies Encrypted Common (4 talkgroups)/Yes

METHAZ/Metro Encrypted Hazardous Materials/Yes

PSOPS3-4/Tri-County Police Agencies (2 talkgroups)/No

The Metro TGs are the same on both, yes.

Don't have the encrypted ones. Doesn't matter anyhow.

LERN patch is on 52624

LE 1 is on 52560

LE 2 is on 52592

FCOMM-1 55120
FCOMM-2 55152

FCOMM-3 is now an encrypted talkgroup, and 4/5 no longer exist.

All of this is in our database as well.
