Way to go, radio hacking idiots.

Most are operating on MURS freqs., the same freqs that the MURS radios in little bubble packs, use.

They're the source of their own 'interference'...

I really did not intend to go out in the shopping mess. Despite hitting over a dozen stores, the only the only (planned) purchase I made was a peeler.

Northgate Mall
461.0625 D025 Think this is DSW Shoes, previously 467.8750 (67.0)
464.5500 D654 Still Bed Bath & Beyond (this is where the peeler came from)
467.8750 (67.0) Confirmed Sports Authority

U-Village
467.9000 (250.3) Crate & Barrel
467.9000 D131 Office Depot. No surprises here. Also note that C&B and OD almost share a wall and probably complain about how the radios cut out from time to time.
154.5700 (74.4) Sony or some store nearby
464.5500 (67.0) American Eagle. Tone periodically heard, much like the "closed air" tone. PL encoding active when tone is heard.
463.3625 (233.6) Guys in yellow jackets standing around in the parking lot. Security is still repeated on 464.8375 but all I heard was housekeeping there

Pierce County Jail.

AMR's new channel is active from Tiger Mtn: 158.7825/103.5, WQRU398.

Freq changed from 158.7825 to 158.835 due to harmful interference to WSP's 158.790 input for 155.580.
Callsign is now WQSF795.

Tests with Skagit County Dike Distict 12 showed that AMR's transmitter would not cause
harmful interference to them.

Also, scratch 851.4625 and add 862.6625 in it's place under WNIC341.

And they have made some other changes in their system recently.
Not as much use of the radio as in the past and 155.220 sounds different.

Update, as of Dec 11, 2013:
Cowlitz County claims interference to their inputs for callsign WPZR413 so AMR has reduced their power to 6W and is looking for a different frequency. Also they've been granted an extension to the STA until June 09, 2014.

467.575 (CSQ)- Cargo ship Jules Point (Hong Kong) onboard operations, simplex. Chinese language.

464.325 (D754)- Have in the scanner as rx all to snag the tone for Camp Berachah above Greenwater; just came active for 2 seconds of dead air here in Tacoma with this tone...which I know for some reason but can't recall. So much for my photographic memory.

ETA- OK, that tone is a common one with the Emerald Queen Casinos, but no more traffic on it and no active license for the casino. Mike Gilbert caught "some sort of truck drivers" same freq/tone awhile ago.
