In November of 2008 this was D432. "Mobile" is the vehicle they use to patrol the parking lots. I think it's an Escape.

All except BB&B are stacked in a multistory building on top of each other.

Someone read off a string of numbers that was the same length as a UPC. No hits on Google, but UPC database shows that that range are products sold at Victoria's Secreat and Bath & Body Works (both are part of the same parent company). I've found VS on this same freq/DPL combo at other stores, so I'll call this one VS. B&BW does have a location at the Northgate Mall, however.

Wow, Target has moved up. When I worked there in high school we had 2-ch Moto Radius portables that were on MURS frequencies. Channel 2 was general dispatch (you have a call on ##, do we have any X in the back, etc) and Channel 1 was used between the backstock folks for logistics. The security employees had a different Ch 1 so they could chat semi-securely.

Yep, I remember. I was just getting into radio in the late 80s and I remember listening to them. My father even worked there (stocking after hours) for a short time. A couple of times, he came home with the radio by accident. We lived just across the street from them in Factoria so reception wasn't a problem.

There's also a 5th channel used in some stores for use by Loss Prevention (aka Target Asset Protection). Normal store management doesn't have access to this channel, but its a riot to listen because they do surveillance of shoplifters on it and they are giving the play by play. "Okay...there's a lady...she's wearing the green tank top...her cart is pretty full...looks like its mostly clothes...she's out of the Womens department...she's going towards the front....oh wait, never mind, she's in checkout....its a legit transaction!"

Was down in Eugene, OR for a few days.

Close call logs:

452.7625 - 77.2hz - Hotel Operations
469.0125 - 131.8hz Wendy's Hamburgers on 28th & Willamette street 8)
452.450 - 92.5hz - Taxi

As usual, I hooked the 346T up to my laptop and let it get to logging. It usually helps to make sure you plug in both sides of the power before leaving the scanner on for the day. This is what I managed to pick up before it went kaput:
UofO LTR system

LCN:
1 453.150
2 453.350
3 453.550
4 453.725
5 453.850

0-03-248 Front desk at Athletic Center
0-04-113 Random chatter
0-03-036 SafeRide (vans to pick up drunk kids)
0-04-011 Facilities Services
0-04-115 UofO Sports Video
0-03-013 Softball game

Interesting. I was just near Arby's in Bel-Red on NE 24th St and happen to check close-call. They use the same frequency and CTCSS.
