Based on the frequency and usage I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is one of the Panasonic WX-CC2010 Series systems. It has an interesting interference guard; when the clerk keys the headset, it sends a short tone, possibly a DTMF tone (C maybe?), at the beginning of the transmission. This pretty much eliminates hackers. There's another tone, slightly lower in frequency, that when transmitted can only be heard on the "repeater" output and not over the hardwired speakers (customer and in-restaurant monitors). It's basically SelCall (not SelCal) but only one bit. And these units don't do CTCSS or DCS.

Interesting. I was just near Arby's in Bel-Red on NE 24th St and happen to check close-call. They use the same frequency and CTCSS.

469.0125 T131.8

Did a follow-up on your lead and checked a few more spots in Bellevue:

Arby's on NE 24th St:
464.0125 146.2 (Clerk --> Customer)
469.0125 131.8 (Customer --> Clerk)

McDonalds on 140th Ave NE
457.5625 71.9 (Clerk --> Customer) Left Lane
468.8375 88.5 (Customer --> Clerk) Left Lane

457.4625 71.9 (Clerk --> Customer) Right Lane
468.4875 88.5 (Customer --> Clerk) Right Lane

Very cool Mike. Thanks for checking further. I just picked up those McDonald's frequencies the other day and hadn't yet had time to isolate them.

461.025 (D243) Cadman Concrete.

Might be using Tower Communications' WPOY446 community repeater but that location doesn't make much sense.

I wonder if that is the same "Tower Communications" co-owned by Reggie Hesse and Hank Bardon???
If so, their "primary" facility location is in a 20 foot conex behind 7604 South Tacoma Way, but Reggie has in the past stuck stuff up in Alan Robinson's site on Baldi Mt... Been a few years since I did any work on that site in South Tacoma but I fabricated and installed the torque arm assembly when the Rohn 45 tower at that location was extended to 100 feet in height... :wink: :wink: :wink:

47-13-09.4 N, 121-50-31.4 W from that license does show up on Baldy... And 20 watts ERP. Should talk out well!

Looks like those might be repeater inputs. I imagine their license--which doesn't appear to exist--would look something like this.
I was able to pick them up on the inputs about a block away but it got pretty scratchy after that. Didn't check the outputs.

Are they running EDACS?

Don't you wish.

Oh you KNOW I do!

After all, MY ideal system would be an EDACS trunked system on Lowband, using the original talkgroups...

All based on an LTR platform...

I shot about 18 gigs last night and I'd rather be outside today than inside correcting white balance and under/overexposure.
