Does anyone know if there are any coax/scanner coax dealers in the area that are open on weekends? Wanting to find something local if possible without going down to HRO in Port. and other than Radio Shack. Thanks.. |

Is AlphaTronics open near Southcenter? They sell by the foot. |

Mike, the only place i know of is Vetco in Bellevue. They're on Northup Way near Lowes and Gold's Gym. I believe they're open on Saturdays. You might want to call them to make sure they have the length in stock. |

I drove-by where AlphaTronics "used" to be, and they are not there any longer. mI think I remember hearing a rumor that they went out of business. Steve/N7JLF |

HRO in Portland is the closest to Seattle now if you don't count the 1 in Vancouver, BC & 1 in Burnaby, BC which are waaaaaaay overpriced. ABC Communications may still be in business but had no ham stuff the last time I was in there a few years ago. |

I stopped by ABC Communications last month in North Seattle. What a sad mess, I am amazed they are still in business (barely). Junk laying around everywhere, not much inventory, a few old ham rigs and scanners... Not sure about the coax, maybe some dusty roll in the corner if they can find it. |

And then there's Electronic Resourcing Incorporated, or ERI... In Olympia... Probably the last good ol' fashioned Electronics components, tools, etc... place left in the area. And they have a pretty good stock of connectors, too... Eric KB7DQH |

Steve/N7JLF They moved to one of the storefronts in the back of a nearby office/industrial complex a year or so ago. Did you look there? It is not easy to find. |

Alphatronics is located at 1035 Andover Park E. in Tukwila and they are in the strip mall area behind a computer store and a mattress store. There hours are Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 5:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00. If you need there phone number, it is (206) 957-5550. Hope this helps you............................ |
