heard them dispatching several fire units this morning on NORCOM Fire Tac-2. the dispatch kept referring to it as "Plan A" then fire called dispatch and asked for PD to come, dispatch then told Fire that PD wanted to know what they were responding for. "Tell them it's uhhhh a Plan A" They also asked for a Chaplin as well Not sure what this is. any idea? |

King County Paramedics to include Seattle Fire all who have graduated from Harborview refer to a CPR call as a "Plan A. Seattle Fire even use to have designated hose evolutions refereed to as Plan 1 or a Letter. |

Yes, Plan "A" is confirmed CPR. Usually not called until a unit arrives on scene from FD. Then they will confirm and call out a "confirmed Plan A". Usually followed by a request for a chaplain. |
